Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in Bloomington, IN and area, with floating duties to nearby sites. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, for an initial 3-month term with potential for permanent placement.

The role requires phlebotomy certification, 2+ years of experience (including pediatric exposure) and a valid driving record for traveling between sites. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience. Pediatric experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination. Collects and stores specimens according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique using needles.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading laboratory results and communicating findings clearly.
