Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Phlebotomist (Contract) for Bloomington, IN and surrounding areas. Schedule: 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Will float to Bloomington and nearby sites; mileage expenses paid. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining records, and explaining procedures to patients. Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens and processing as required.
• Collects and stores specimens; ensures correct labeling and transport.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients; follow protocols.
