Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role involves floating to Bloomington IN and surrounding areas, performing blood draws, labeling and transporting specimens, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The candidate must have a phlebotomy certification, at least 2 years of related experience, and the ability to travel to multiple sites. Mileage expenses are paid, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge and decontaminate specimens as required.
• Document maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
• Assist with transport of specimens as needed.
