Job summary

United Future in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist for a three-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role requires experience in blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and accurate data entry.

The schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with travel to nearby facilities as needed. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, maintaining proper specimen transport, and adhering to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by the state.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling, centrifuging and data maintenance.
• Collect and store specimens per test orders; explain venipuncture process clearly.
• Package specimens for transport; verify requisitions and ensure specimen integrity.
