TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. The PCU role involves caring for patients needing close monitoring, using bedside procedures, and coordinating care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and willingness to travel. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with night shifts in Dayton, OH.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH may be needed.
• Travel assignment duration is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays and respond to changes.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring indicates adverse symptoms.
