Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. The PCU RN will care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, using telemetry to track vitals and respond to changes.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 48 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Ideal candidates have ACLS/BLS certifications and at least 2 years of RN experience in acute care, with travel nursing background preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside PCU care and monitor cardiac patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Monitor telemetry and vital signs, interpreting data for changes.
• Prepare for rapid intervention when monitoring shows deterioration.
