TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Ohio. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and other vital information, care for patients requiring close monitoring, and work on a 12-hour night shift as part of a 13-week travel assignment.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and hold ACLS and BLS certifications; NIH experience is noted, along with 2 years of relevant practice.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience (as stated in posting).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
