Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. The PCU RN will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac patients, and administer medications on a 12-hour night shift.

This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 48-hour work week and a tax-free stipend to be determined. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments while communicating effectively with the care

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• NIH (certification) may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and operate monitoring equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document doses.
• Assist with IV starts, dressings and catheter insertions.
