Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for Springfield, Missouri. The PCU RN provides close monitoring, manages complex medications, and works in a fast-paced environment. The role is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on day shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH are required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience or as specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows issues.
