Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The PCU RN provides bedside care, monitors cardiac patients, and supports rapid response to changes in patient condition. This travel role requires ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Travel assignment details include 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a 13-week duration. Benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications.
