MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The 13-week contract runs 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of acute care PCU/step-down experience. Travel assignments include weekly pay and many benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Unit patients require close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and respond to changes, including potential life-threatening events.
