Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MA. This Travel position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts in the Progressive Care Unit handling post-acute cardiac patients.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS and BLS certifications. The PCU nurse will monitor patient status, administer medications, start IVs, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patient condition and document care and outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage IVs as prescribed.
• Operate monitoring equipment and respond to changes.
