Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a skilled Millwright to install and troubleshoot industrial equipment across locations, including large-capacity washers and dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic systems at our New Kensington facility.

You will read blueprints, perform Lockout/Tagout and confined-space procedures, handle welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), and travel to multiple UniFirst sites while upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Equipment maintenance knowledge – minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred
• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
• Experience using hand & power tools required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems, and components including large capacity washers/dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance tasks following safety policies and approved procedures.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform job duties.
• Provide maintenance information to appropriate partners.
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) and related cutting/brazing.
