Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Field Service Technician/Engineer to lead the installation, updating and servicing of medical devices including infusion pumps and batteries across US hospitals. This 100% travel role demands strong customer service and hands-on technical expertise.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or equivalent biomedical/technical field service training with 3–5 years of field experience, and can troubleshoot across software and hardware.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent biomedical/technical field service training; 3–5 years field experience.
• Strong computer skills; troubleshoot remotely within multiple software programs.
• Excellent communication and professional business acumen.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle for local work.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
• Organize, test, update medical devices, install and configure hardware/software/network products.
• Record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Document and submit daily data with high-quality product support documentation.
• Full-time travel with local, regional, and national coverage.
• Assignment-based schedule with 40+ hours per week and overtime as needed.
