Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced OB/L&D RN for a travel assignment. Schedule is 3x12s (6:30p–7:00a) with a 36-hour guarantee. Requires Epic charting experience and 2 years in OB with L&D experience.

Travel experience is required; AHA/ARC certifications preferred, WI licensure. Start date is 9/14/26. The unit includes Level 1 maternity and nursery, 2 labor rooms and 6 post-partum beds, with variable census and adherence to AWHONN guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2 years in OB with L&D experience.
• 1 year of travel experience - Required
• Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
• Charting Experience : Epic Required

Responsibilities

• Provide labor, postpartum and newborn nursery care.
• Work collaboratively within the OB/L&D unit with cross-functional staff.
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines and unit protocols.

• 6:30p - 7:00a
• 30 minute lunch is required
• 36 hours guaranteed
• Holiday Rotation: every other

Additional Details about the position

• Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 2 labor rooms; 6 post-partum. Level 1 maternity/Level 1 nursery as well as post-op GYN patients. Our birth rate is ~ 100 annually. Month to month is highly variable.Patient Ratio - we try to adhere to AWHONN guidelines (L/D nurse should be familiar with this).
• Average Daily Census: Highly variable. Average monthly delivery rate is ~ 10/month.
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: as above- we staff to AWHONN guidelines. Nurses do labor/post-partum/newborn nursery care (not separate units). For example - on a night shift, 1 RN may have 2 moms/2 babies assigned while the 2nd RN has no assignment - takes all triage, labor patients, does daily tasks/restocking, cleaning, etc. OR sometimes they share the 2 "couplets" between them and then work together if someone comes in.
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Assertive and confident in skills. Team player.
• Scrub colors: Any-but provided if they go into surgery

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years in OB with L&D experience.
• 1 year of travel experience - Required
• Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
• Charting Experience : Epic Required

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Mandatory : BLS
• Advanced NRP
• AWONN and PALS - Preferred
• Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
