Quality Vision International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installation, calibration and repair of QVI metrology products across North America. This full-time, travel-heavy position requires strong technical skills and excellent customer communication.

You will support multiple brands and collaborate with QVS to maximize service quality. Ideal candidates will be based near major hubs like Chicago, Detroit or Ohio, with 95% domestic travel and occasional

Formación

2-year degree in engineering, technology or physics required; in lieu of degree, 4 years related work or military experience.
Minimum 2 years of technical field service experience or similar military experience in calibration, diagnosis and repair of complex systems.
Strong mechanical & electrical aptitude; experience with precision measurement tools.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings, specifications and manuals.

Responsabilidades

Receive service dispatch instructions identifying product, customer, issue and timing.
Contact customer to confirm location and timing for arrival.
Arrange and book travel and arrive on-site with tools.
Maintain contact with HQ and customer on progress and needs.
Complete service reports, logs and expense reports per QVS policies.
Identify upgrade opportunities on-site and communicate leads to home office.
Communicate training needs to manager based on products served.
