Job summary
Quality Vision International Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer in the Greater Phoenix area to provide on-site installation, calibration and repair of QVI metrology products across North America.
This full-time role involves travel with rare international travel, supporting brands like OGP, CCP and VIEW. Requirements include a 2-year degree in engineering/technology/physics or 4 years of related experience, plus 2+ years of field service experience, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude,
Qualifications
- Education: 2-year degree in engineering, technology or physics or 4 years related work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Field Service experience or equivalent military calibration/repair background.
- Strong mechanical & electrical aptitude with use of precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and manuals.
- Knowledge of control systems and troubleshooting hardware/software interactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify service dispatch details; confirm location and timing.
- Travel and book travel arrangements; arrive on-site with tools and begin work.
- Maintain communication with HQ and customer on progress and needs.
- Complete service reports, logs and expense reports per policy.
- Identify upgrade opportunities and communicate leads to home office.
- Demonstrate initiative in training needs and communicate with manager.
