Quality Vision International Inc. is seeking a remote Field Service Engineer with a strong background in engineering and metrology to travel across North America. You will install, calibrate and repair QVI products, maintain detailed service documentation, and communicate clearly with customers and the home office.

Remote but travel-intensive role with domestic travel emphasis. The position requires a 2-year engineering/tech/physics degree (or 4 years related experience), hands-on calibration

Formación

• 2-year degree in engineering, technology or physics required (or 4 years related work/military experience).
• Minimum 2 years field service or similar calibration/repair experience.
• Strong mechanical & electrical aptitude and measurement tools proficiency.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and manuals.
• Computer/controller experience and ability to diagnose hardware/software interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Receive service dispatch instructions and confirm site details.
• Contact customer to schedule arrival and travel.
• Arrange and book travel and prepare on-site equipment.
• Work on-site to install, calibrate and repair QVI metrology products.
• Document service reports, logs and expenses per QVS policies.
• Identify upgrade opportunities and communicate with home office.
