Quality Vision International Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installation, calibration, and repair of QVI metrology products across North America.

The role requires strong technical and customer-service skills and involves extensive travel with rare international trips. Ideal candidates will have a 2-year engineering/tech degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years of field service experience and proficiency with measurement tools.

Formación

• 2-year degree in engineering, technology or physics required or 4 years related work/military experience.
• Minimum 2 years of technical hands-on Field Service experience or similar military calibration/repair background.

Responsabilidades

• Receive service dispatch instructions identifying product, customer, issue and timing.
• Contact customer to confirm location and timing for arrival.
• Arrange and book travel.
• Arrive on-site with tools and begin work.
• Maintain contact with headquarters and customer on progress and needs.
• Complete service reports, logs and expense reports per QVS policies.
• Identify upgrade opportunities and communicate leads to home office.
• Communicate training needs to manager.
