Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Service Technician to serve as the primary technical contact across North America. You will travel 80% or more, handling installation, commissioning, and calibration of 3D printing systems, plus on-site training and demonstrations.

You will diagnose electromechanical issues, perform repairs, and drive first-visit resolutions while managing a high travel workload and documenting activities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM-related field.
• Hands-on repair experience required.
• Must hold a valid passport.
• Able to perform job functions using written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
• Ability to travel 80%+ of the time.
• Located near Newark Airport.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and calibrate new 3D printing systems on-site.
• Provide on-site user training and live product demonstrations.
• Perform rapid repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
