Job summary

Formlabs seeks a Field Service Technician to be the primary technical contact across North America, traveling to customer sites 80%+ to install, commission, and train users on our 3D printing systems.

Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, rapid repair, and meticulous service documentation in Salesforce. A STEM degree, hands-on repair experience, and a valid passport are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM-related field.
• Hands-on repair experience required.
• Valid passport required.
• Ability to travel 80%+ of the time.
• Located near Newark Airport or willing to commute.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and commission new 3D printing systems at customer sites.
• Conduct on-site structured user training for customers on machinery and software.
• Perform break-fix repairs and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Manage travel logistics (flights, hotels, car) and document expenses.
• Record installations, trainings, and repairs in Salesforce.
