Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and overhaul rotating equipment at customer sites across North America. You will lead on-site diagnostics and precision repairs, working with advanced tools and performing thorough overhauls to ensure equipment runs at peak performance.

You will travel to diverse sites, require a strong mechanical background, and be comfortable with on-call hours, overtime, and weekends to meet service commitments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Willing to work on-call, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and removal of motors and coupled equipment with laser alignment.
• Perform precise inspections with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Overhaul bearings, gearboxes, and critical components.
• Run diagnostic tests with portable equipment to ensure system reliability.
• Maintain safety standards and collaborate with the team.
