Job summary

Integrated Power Services seeks a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will work with a team to deliver an unmatched customer experience while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and bearing experience, plus a willingness to travel, overtime, and weekends. IPS provides extensive training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar rotating equipment.
• Able to read precision measuring instruments and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced, continuous improvement env.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and safety-first mindset.
• Valid Driver's License; willing to travel, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation/removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment with laser alignments.
• Perform precision inspections using calipers, micrometers and dial indicators.
• Overhauls: replace bearings, gearboxes and torque-critical parts.
• Run diagnostics with Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO.
• Clean and prep rotating equipment using bead/ice blasting and solvents.
• Maintain safety and collaborate with teams to hit project goals.
