Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Field Services Technician III to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials, with little or no supervision.

Travel/On Call/Emergency Response: this is a travel role (60-80%), across the United States.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Field Service Technician work.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities.
• Emergency on-call responsibility; may work weekends and holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required.
• OSHA respirator standards compliance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and lifting.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools.
• Use PPE properly, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste safely.
• Complete paperwork such as inspections and permits.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
