Job summary

Clean Harbors in Louisville, KY is seeking a Field Services Technician III to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials, with little or no supervision.

You will work in varied environments, participate in emergency response on a rotating schedule, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in field service roles or equivalent
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to be on-call during rotating schedule
• Demonstrated safety-minded approach to handling hazardous materials
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following all policies and procedures
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools
• Wear appropriate PPE and respirators as required
• Work in various environments and weather conditions
• Handle hazardous materials and perform waste sampling and documentation
• Climb ladders and work at heights, including scaffolding
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis
• Complete paperwork and inspections in a timely manner
• Comply with all OSHA, DOT, and company regulations
