Job summary

Clean Harbors in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Field Services Technician II to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Health and safety is a priority. The position requires strenuous physical labor, on-call emergency response, and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Ability to perform physical functions as described in the responsibilities.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response and occasional weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and work safely.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand tools.
• Wear PPE and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Prepare paperwork and vehicle/equipment inspections and permits.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
