Clean Harbors in Logan, NJ is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-minded team. This role performs hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in field environments.
The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to health and safety. The position requires on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule and offers comprehensive benefits and a structured training academy.
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
- Able to perform physical functions per job requirements and on-call emergency response may be required.
- On-call shifts may include weekends/holidays and extended hours.
- Face hair standards per respirator policy.
Responsibilities
- Follow health and safety policies as the top priority.
- Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools.
- Work outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions.
- Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
- Safe loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
- Comply with DOT, state, and federal regulations.
