Clean Harbors Marlborough, MA is seeking a Field Services Technician I to perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and equipment decontamination in field settings. The role requires physical labor, operation of equipment, and strict adherence to safety protocols in diverse outdoor/indoor conditions.

The position offers hourly pay with paid training in out-of-state Academy; travel for training is covered. A strong safety mindset and ability to work on-call rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response availability; may include weekends/holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and medical physical required by position.
• Compliance with OSHA respirator facial hair standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by following policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools.
• Use PPE correctly including respirators and protective equipment.
• Work in varied temperatures and environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Assist in field sampling and calibrate meters.
• Safely load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
