Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Technician III to join our safety-conscious team in the Baytown area. The role covers hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and safe handling of hazardous materials with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include performing physical duties, operating equipment, wearing PPE, and working in varied environments. On-call emergency response is required on rotation, with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Field Service Technician experience.
• Ability to perform physical functions per responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response may be required; weekends/holidays possible.
• Valid Driver's license as a requirement.
• Willingness to pass background check, drug test, and medical exam as needed.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection standards (facial hair rules).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Handle hazardous materials and participate in waste sampling and documentation.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and access tanks and trucks.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
