American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with pediatric sonography and ECMO knowledge for a pediatric cardiac care setting. The role covers NICU/PICU and Cardiac ICU with day shifts and no weekend or on-call requirements.

Requirements include 1 year pediatric sonography experience, ARDMS, BLS, and applicable license. Fetal echo experience is encouraged and adult echo is a plus; orientation is provided and scrubs are Caribbean Blue.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography.
• BLS and ARDMS required.
• License required if applicable.
• Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred.
• Experience with ECMO procedures and bedside weans.
• Understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease.
• Fetal echo experience encouraged.
• Adult echo experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Uses 4 scanners with Philips floor equipment.
• Performs echocardiographic studies across fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography.
• Covers NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU.
• Uses Epic EMR and PACS Fuji CV Synapse.
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule.
• No weekend expectations.
• No on-call requirements.
• Closed on major holidays.
• Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement.
• Recognize and triage emergent situations.
• Provide written communication to cardiologists.
• Maintain equipment and perform logging and billing of procedures.
• 1-2 week orientation provided.
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required.
