American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of pediatric echocardiography experience. ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification is required; RDCS PE or RDCS AE are preferred.

The position offers a weekday, day-shift schedule at the main campus with close-to-home assignments and potential for travel as needed. Responsibilities include performing pediatric echocardiograms in outpatient and ICU settings, including fetal studies, using GE or Philips systems,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification required.
• ARDMS RDCS PE or RDCS certification required; RDCS AE and RDCS FE preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency in 2-D Echo, Color Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, M-Mode, Pulsed Wave Doppler, and Routine scanning.
• Experience scanning complex anomalies and post-surgical repairs preferred.
• Experience with pediatric anomalies including Coarctation of the Aorta, Pulmonary Venous Return Anomalies, Tetralogy of Fallot, Transposition of the Great Vessels, Tricuspid and Pulmonary Atresia, and Double Outlet Ventricle.
• Experience with Aortic Arch Abnormalities/Vascular Ring, Coronary Artery Anomalies, Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome, and Bubble Studies preferred.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use.

Responsabilités

• Pediatric outpatient and ICU work settings, including fetal echocardiography.
• Patient ratio of 1:7.
• Monday to Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• No call, holiday, or weekend coverage required.
• Assignment based at main campus and close-to-home locations, with the full day spent at a single location.
• Floating to different units may be required depending on assignment needs.
• GE and Philips equipment preferred, Siemens charting system experience preferred.
• Perform pediatric echocardiograms including portable studies and complex congenital anomaly scans.
• Must be prepared to float to different units as needed based on assignment requirements.
• Candidates must not have worked in a permanent position at this facility within the past 2 years.
• 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidates.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
