Job summary

American Traveler, LLC seeks an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for an adult outpatient cardiac clinic. Requires ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification and at least 1 year of experience. Epic charting experience is required; 3-D echo, bubble studies, and contrast imaging skills are expected.

The position offers a day shift schedule, in a clinic setting with GE equipment and a focus on patient-centered care. Local candidates within 75 miles are considered at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required, 2 years highly preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills include adult echo, 3-D echo, bubble study, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, RVIT, RVOT, routine and treadmill stress echo
• IV insertion skills preferred; training available if not proficient
• Must be able to obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG and follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Must pass an onsite EKG/Telemetry exam during orientation
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Adult outpatient cardiac clinic setting with 4 echo rooms, including 2 stress echo rooms on a rotating basis
• Average caseload of 8-9 patients per day at roughly one exam per hour
• Day shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Equipment used includes GE VE95, GE S70, and GE case machines
• Charting completed in Epic and Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV) PACS and reporting system
• Perform adult echocardiograms including stress echo, bubble studies, and contrast imaging studies
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Orientation occurs on a biweekly schedule
• Accepts local candidates within 75 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
