Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of independent practice and pediatric echo experience for a 21-week Bangor, Maine assignment. You will split time between outpatient clinic and main hospital, handling 6 outpatient and 2 inpatient scans daily on Philips equipment within Cerner EMR.

Requirements include ARDMS AE, pediatric PE registry preferred, BLS, and pediatric congenital heart disease experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years independent practice required; 3 years preferred.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARDMS AE with pediatric experience; PE registry preferred.
• Compact or Maine license if applicable.
• Experience with neonatal, pediatric, and adult congenital heart disease.
• Strong assessment skills and know when to pause scanning.

Responsibilities

• Work in outpatient pediatric cardiology clinic and hospital; rotate between settings.
• Perform 6 outpatient and 2 inpatient scans per day on average.
• Operate in a Cerner EMR environment using Philips equipment.
• Float between inpatient and outpatient care areas; assist with PACS/Cerner needs.
• Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage as required.
