Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Driver Helper (Travel Team) in Sterling, VA. You will support safe, precise delivery of sensitive equipment to Data Center Operations sites and assist with installation, including working in confined spaces.

Role requires driving with the team across U.S. locations, maintaining safety, following SOPs, and providing professional customer service. Base pay ranges hourly with potential overtime; benefits information available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in delivery, warehouse operations, moving/installation roles
• Experience with white glove deliveries or high‑value equipment handling preferred
• Ability to safely move and position large/heavy equipment in controlled environments
• Experience using manual material handling equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, lift assists)
• Familiarity with SOPs and installation instructions; ability to follow site requirements
• Basic familiarity with POD systems or handheld devices preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with deliveries from warehouse to DCO sites
• Support loading, unloading, and securement of freight
• Assist with installation and placement of server systems and sensitive equipment
• Perform installation support tasks in confined spaces
• Complete POD documentation and verify shipment accuracy
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with PPE standards
• Communicate effectively with drivers and site personnel
• Identify and escalate delays, hazards, or compliance concerns
• Travel to other U.S. locations as needed
• Work flexible schedules including weekends and overtime
