Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Sterling, VA seeks a Tech Driver with a Class A CDL to safely transport and install high-value IT equipment from warehouses to Data Center Operations sites. The role requires adherence to DOT/FMCSA rules, readiness for travel, and on-site installation support with professional, white-glove service.

You will work with teams, complete PODs, and maintain PPE standards while supporting multi-location deployments and overtime shifts as needed.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR meeting DOT/FMCSA and DSV standards.
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Ability to travel and work variable schedules, including weekends and overtime.
Experience supporting data center deliveries, white glove service, or specialized freight preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Execute scheduled deliveries from warehouse locations to Data Center Operations (DCO) sites.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
Provide white glove service when handling sensitive, high-value, or technical equipment.
Assist with installation and placement of server systems and related equipment using provided tools and procedures.
Work independently or collaboratively in teams of up to five to complete delivery and installation activities.
Accurately complete Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and ensure shipment accuracy.
