Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Sterling, VA, seeks a Driver Helper (Travel Team) to support safe, compliant delivery and installation of high-value equipment from warehouses to Data Center Operations sites. You will assist drivers, help load/unload, and participate in installs, often in confined spaces, while following SOPs and safety rules.

The role requires physical stamina, willingness to travel to other U.S. locations, and a customer-focused, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in delivery/warehouse operations or similar physically demanding roles preferred
• Experience supporting white-glove deliveries or data center logistics strongly preferred
• Ability to safely handle, move, and position large, heavy, fragile equipment in controlled environments

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with deliveries from warehouse locations to Data Center Operations sites
• Support loading, unloading, and securing freight for safe transport
• Assist with installation and placement of server systems and sensitive equipment using provided tools
• Perform installation support activities in confined spaces and while positioning equipment accurately
• Complete Proof of Delivery documentation and ensure shipment accuracy
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to PPE standards
• Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, site personnel, and management
• Identify and escalate operational issues, delays, hazards, or compliance concerns promptly
• Travel to other U.S. locations as required based on operational needs
• Work flexible schedules including weekends and approved overtime
