Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States seeks a Driver Helper (Tech) to support safe, compliant delivery and installation of sensitive equipment from warehouse to Data Center Operations sites. You will assist the driver, help load/unload, and ensure accuracy of POD documents while maintaining high safety standards.

Role involves working in active construction and data center environments, with travel to other U.S.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of delivery/warehouse or similar physically demanding roles.
• Experience with white glove deliveries, data centers, or high-value equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely move and position large, heavy equipment.
• Experience using manual material handling equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, lift assists).
• Familiarity with SOPs and installation instructions is a plus.
• Experience assisting IT/server rack installation or technical setup (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with deliveries to Data Center Operations (DCO) sites.
• Support loading, unloading, and securing freight for safe transport.
• Assist with installation and placement of server systems and sensitive equipment.
• Perform installation support in confined spaces and precise positioning.
• Complete and verify POD documentation and ensure shipment accuracy.
• Maintain professional appearance and PPE compliance.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, site personnel, and management.
• Travel to other U.S. locations as needed; work flexible schedules including weekends and overtime.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
