Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a teaching hospital setting in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities include CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, and ED, with 3x12 hour days and on-call shifts. Travel experience and Epic charting are required.

Required are 1+ year CT Tech experience, BLS, ARRT (R) and ARRT Advanced CT certification. GE/Siemens/Philips equipment experience is preferred, and pediatric acute care exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, and ED settings.
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts, Fri/Sat/Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM.
• On-call 2–3 shifts every 6 weeks.
• Assist with special procedures such as vascular CTA, biopsies and drainages.
• Maintain compliance with mask fit testing and travel policies.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a teaching hospital setting requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT Advanced CT certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT Advanced CT certification required (license required if applicable)
• GE and Siemens equipment experience required; Philips experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging with and without contrast
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture
• Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care teaching hospital with 673 staffed beds
• CT Tech role within the Radiology/Cardiology CT department
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 2-3 call shifts per 6 week schedule
• Epic charting system required
• Performs CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings, with pediatric acute care experience preferred
• May assist with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and vascular CTA
• Black scrub color required
• Free parking available
• Travelers must shave to ensure proper mask seal for fit testing; no CAPR, PAPR, or medical/religious exemptions permitted
• Candidates may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation
• RTO should be requested upfront when possible
• Local candidates within 70 miles are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler without taking a 6 month break before returning
