Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT certification for a 13-week travel assignment in our 24-hour imaging department. The role requires working 12-hour night shifts in a facility with 3 Siemens scanners and a busy inpatient/outpatient mix.

The ideal candidate has current BLS and ARRT credentials, CT experience of 2+ years, and license where applicable. Travel perks include housing allowances and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within CT specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 24-hour CT imaging department with 3 Siemens scanners.
• Serve inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Perform ~130 exams/day on weekdays and ~80 on weekends.
• Conduct Angio Coronary, biopsies, abscess drains, and ablation protocols.
• Utilize Bayer Medrad contrast injector, Cerner EMR, and SBAR processes.
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM Fri-Sun.
• 13-week assignment; RTO requested upfront; travel staffing requirements.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and 2+ years of CT experience for a 24-hour imaging department.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience within CT specialty

Responsibilities

• 24-hour CT imaging department with 3 Siemens scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, Force)
• Services both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Average of 130 exams per day during the week and 80 exams per day on weekends
• Procedures include Angio Coronary, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols
• Uses Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector, Cerner EMR, and SBAR procedures
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 630p-7a Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• 13-week assignment
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance
