Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment in Terre Haute, IN. Requires 2+ years CT tech experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS. The role involves performing CTA and stroke protocols on GE scanners, with charting in Allscripts, Centricity, and Meditech.

Expect 12-hour shifts, 7a–7p, with weekend rotation and occasional call. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to place IVs, and willing to float to X-ray if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be self-motivated
• Must be able to start IVs
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks in acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Acute care CT department with 2 scanners
• Performs CTA, stroke protocols, head/neck, chest, and abd/pelvis studies
• Average of 15 scans per day
• Uses Centricity and Meditech, transitioning to Fuji and Epic in January 2027
• Allscripts used for charting
• 12-hour day shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7a-7p
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend unless contracted for weekends only
• Call every 4th-5th week with 1-hour call back time
• May float to X-ray
• No in-house radiologist; uses Coaxion Telerad services
• Self-scheduling with manager approval
• Maroon or teal scrubs required

• Average of 15 scans/studies per day

• 1-2 holidays required per contract period
• Call required every 4th-5th week with 1-hour call back time

• No Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift

• No RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants) used in this department
• Self-scheduling available with manager approval
