The role requires ARRT CT registration, state licensure, and certifications in CT, fluoroscopy, venipuncture, and HLFS, with 2+ years of CT experience. The position offers various day shifts and benefits including housing and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Advanced CT certification preferred in OR/HI; CA preferred.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment.

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology experience, with recent practice.

Responsibilities

• Day shift schedule with multiple 8.0 hour options.
• Perform CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to requested sites.
• Assess and plan patient care from adolescent to geriatric groups.
• Maintain records, billing information, and image integrity per HIPAA.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment; manage supplies.
• Accept local candidates at travel rate; limit time-off requests.

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
• BLS certification required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice; license required if applicable
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials via venipuncture
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months

Responsibilities

• Day shift schedule with options of 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients from adolescence through geriatric age groups
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data in accordance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
• Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
