American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with multimodality experience in CT, X-ray, and OR to join an evening shift at an acute care hospital.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT CT registration, California RT license, and advanced CT certification, with a minimum of 2 years CT experience. BLS certification is required and fluoroscopy/venipuncture credentials are preferred where applicable.

• California Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Advanced CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification if administering contrast materials.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years CT experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Works in the CT Scan department of an acute care hospital.
• Evening shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with start around 1:30 PM depending on staffing.
• Requires Epic EMR experience.
• CT experience required; X-ray and/or OR proficiency preferred.
• Proficient in at least two of CT, X-ray, OR; candidates meeting this will be considered.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence to geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images.
• Maintains records, files, and billing info in HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment; manages supply inventory.
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates.
• Candidates with >5 days time off will not be considered.
• Adverse licensure history will disqualify.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT required

• Works in the CT Scan department of an acute care hospital
• Evening shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with primary start time around 1:30 PM though hours may vary based on departmental staffing
• Requires Epic EMR experience
• CT experience required, with additional proficiency in X-ray and/or OR preferred
• Candidates proficient in at least two of the three modalities (CT, X-ray, OR) will be considered
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates are the same as travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure history will not be considered
