American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification for an evening hospital assignment in Lafayette, CO. Requires 1–2 years of CT and acute care experience, BLS, and an associate degree.

Colorado-specific fluoroscopy certification is preferred. Provide safe patient care, operate CT equipment, and adhere to protocols. The schedule is 36 hours per week, 4 days, evenings 11:00 AM–8:30 PM, with rotating on-call and holiday coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Performs CT procedures with contrast administration
• Ensure proper patient ID, order verification and exam prep
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices
• Coordinate care with other providers post-procedure
• Maintain records of procedures and any adverse reactions
• Instruct students or other radiology staff as needed

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT(R) certification and 1-2 years of CT and acute care experience for an evening shift hospital assignment.

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(R)(CT) preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA, must not expire prior to start)
• Associate degree required
• License required if applicable
• 1-2 years of CT and acute care experience preferred
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado-based caregivers
• Proficiency in CT equipment operation, imaging techniques, and protocols
• Strong understanding of sectional anatomy and positioning competency
• Experience with contrast injector operation and administration protocols
• Ability to view, transfer, and manipulate electronic images
• Radiation badge required, preferably supplier-provided
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography department in an acute care hospital setting
• Evening shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 36 hours per week across 4 days
• Rotating on-call responsibilities and assigned holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Performs CT procedures using ionizing radiation and contrast media administration
• Perform a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment and clinical initiative
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation
• Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control practices
• Provide patient education and address patient or family concerns
• Coordinate care and communicate with other healthcare providers post-procedure
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, and consent documentation
• Maintain QC program compliance and report equipment issues
• Assist and instruct students or other radiology technologists as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
