Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute hospital setting in Hawaii. Candidates must hold Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable), ARRT(CT) certification, and BLS, with 2–3 years of acute hospital CT experience.

Independent scanning per radiologist protocols is required. Preferred experience includes Meditech EMR, Vitrea workstation and Canon/Toshiba CT units, plus venipuncture, MIP/MPR and 3D imaging.

Qualifications

• Hawaii license required (if applicable)
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• 2–3 years experience in an acute hospital setting
• Scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT independently
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, Vitrea workstation preferred
• Venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging experience preferred
• Experience with biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma or stroke imaging a plus

Responsibilities

• 10 hour varied shifts
• No call requirements
• Acute hospital setting
• Report to Employee Health 48–72 hours before assignment start for clearance
• Arrive Thursday before Monday start to report to Employee Health on Friday
• Provide flu vaccination proof or approved exception before contract start
• No RTO during first 13 weeks
• Function independently without supervision

Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in an acute hospital setting
• Must be able to scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently without supervision
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred
• Experience with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging preferred
• Experience with biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging a plus
