Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Arizona. The role requires 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification, with AZDHS and BLS credentials preferred to ensure patient safety.

The technologist will work in a Level 3 trauma facility, performing CT and X-ray imaging for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, using GE equipment and Cerner EHR/Optum PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology is required.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• AZDHS certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• CT/X-ray experience and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Operate a 120-bed Level 3 trauma facility with 1:1 patient care.
• Work with GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE X-ray equipment.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• AZDHS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology required
• CT, X-ray, and computer experience required
• License required if applicable
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• CT/X-ray department within a Level 3 trauma facility
• 120-bed facility with 1:1 patient ratios
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases
• Common diagnoses include PE, GI bleed, CVA, and trauma
• Equipment includes GE Revolution Maxima 128-slice CT scanner, GE X-ray, and GE portable units
• Uses Cerner EHR and Optum PACS imaging system
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Scrubs of any color permitted
• Acrylic nails, baseball hats, and t-shirts (except on Fridays) not permitted
• Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
