Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT and diagnostic X-ray experience for a night shift assignment in a Level II Trauma Center setting.

Responsibilities include performing a broad range of CT scans (abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, cardiac/vascular), operating PACS and Philips CT equipment, and supporting ED/ICU patients. ARRT (R), BLS, and TMB certification are required; ARRT (CT) preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CT and diagnostic X-ray experience
• ARRT (R), BLS, and TMB certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast media
• Knowledge of radiation safety and PPE
• Comfort in ED, ICU, and Level II Trauma Center setting

Responsibilities

• CT Tech role within Radiology/Cardiology at an adult acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center
• Supports Emergency Department and ICU patient populations
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast, head/neck imaging, spine imaging, chest imaging, cardiac CT, and vascular studies
• Uses PACS and Philips CT equipment
• Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
• No call requirements
• Responsible for a broad range of CT imaging studies across multiple regions
• Facility conducts onsite drug screening including marijuana testing; positive results cancel candidacy
• Candidates should avoid substances that could trigger positive drug screens
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside outside 50-mile radius of the facility
• Travel experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and diagnostic X-ray
• ARRT (R), BLS, and TMB certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast media
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Must be comfortable working in an Emergency Department, ICU, and Level II Trauma Center setting

Responsibilities

• CT Tech role within Radiology/Cardiology at an adult acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center
• Supports Emergency Department and ICU patient populations
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast, head and neck imaging (carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head), spine imaging (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), chest imaging with and without contrast, cardiac CT (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), and vascular chest studies (PE, CTA, aorta)
• Uses PACS and Philips CT equipment
• Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
• No call requirements
• Responsible for performing a range of CT imaging studies across abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, and cardiac/vascular regions
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen including marijuana testing; a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous travel experience is strongly preferred, though not strictly required
