American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift contract in Illinois. The role requires 2+ years of CT experience and proficiency with Siemens Force CT scanners, along with ARRT/IEMA certifications.

The position mandates travel experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and a pre-employment EKG test. A local radius and holiday coverage are expected, with orientation and onsite interview on start date.

Qualifications

• ARRT and IEMA certification required.

• BLS certification from American Heart or American Red Cross only.
• Prior travel assignment experience required; minimum 1 completed travel assignment.
• Must provide date of birth for consideration.
• Two professional references required; one from most recent travel assignment.
• Relias EKG test with score 80%+ prior to consideration.

Responsibilities

• CT radiology position within Radiology department.
• Day shift: Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
• Typically works alone on Sundays with double duties.
• One week orientation: Mon–Fri, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM.
• On-site EKG test required Day 1 of orientation; fail leads to contract termination.
• Local candidates accepted at same rate.
• Local radius of 50 miles.
• First-time travelers not considered; returning staff must be away 12 months before traveling.
• RTO: 3 days for 8-week; 7 days for 13-week contracts.
• Must work at least 1–2 holidays during contract.
• On-site facility interview ~10–15 minutes.
