Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift at an acute care teaching hospital. The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT certification, has at least 1 year of CT experience, and is proficient with Siemens CT systems and IV injections.

Requirements include current BLS, a state license if applicable, and willingness to work weekends and holidays. Epic charting is used; you may be asked to float across the site and system.

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday-Saturday from 19:00 to 7:30.
• Acute care teaching hospital with Level I trauma designation.
• CT Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology department.
• Must work holidays if they fall on the scheduled shift.
• On-call not anticipated; may float within site and system as needed.
• Uses Epic for charting; must complete education within one week of starting.
• Refusal to float may lead to contract cancellation.
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any system facility.
• RTO must be submitted with application; no RTO first week; max 7 days per assignment.
• Potential mandatory cancellations due to low census.

Responsibilities

• Acute care teaching hospital with Level I trauma designation
• CT Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology department
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday-Saturday from 19:00 to 7:30
• Required to work every weekend
• Must work holidays if they fall on the normal scheduled shift
• On-call not anticipated
• Expected to float within scope across the site and system as needed
• Uses Epic for charting
• Must complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
• Refusal to float as requested may result in cancellation of contract
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any facility within the health system
• Finalized RTO must be submitted with application; no RTO within the first week of the assignment and no more than 7 days of RTO per assignment
• Personnel may be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty due to low census
• Scrubs may be facility-provided; any color except all black or camo print is acceptable
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space, with EV charging available
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
