Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend-focused assignment at a Kansas hospital. The role requires ARRT certification and at least 6 months CT experience, with a preference for 2-3+ years and Siemens scanner experience.

You will work 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Fridays through Sundays for 13 weeks, performing CT head to pelvis, CTAs, and stroke protocols using Meditech and FUJI Synapse PACS in a busy ED setting. Housing and travel support available.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months CT experience; 2-3+ years preferred.
• KSBHA license if applicable.
• Siemens scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans including Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen and pelvis.
• Perform CTA chest, neck, and abdomen; occasional CTA cardiac studies.
• Work weekend shifts Fri–Sun 11:00 AM–11:00 PM on a 13-week assignment.
• Operate with Siemens Somatom Plus CT and utilize Meditech and FUJI Synapse.
• Handle ED patient load with adult ICU and ED in a hospital setting.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend-focused assignment requiring ARRT certification and 6 months of CT experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months CT Tech experience
• CT registered with ARRT
• KSBHA license required if applicable
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• 2-3+ years of CT experience preferred
• Ability to back up X-ray when needed
• Must be able to work independently and problem-solve

Responsibilities

• Adult 64-bed hospital with 12-bed Adult ICU and 14-bed ED
• Imaging department weekend staffing includes 1 MRI tech, 1 X-ray tech, 1 US tech (Saturdays only), and 1 CT tech
• Primarily adult ED patients with occasional pediatric scans, plus adult inpatients as ordered
• Equipment includes Siemens Somatom Plus 128-slice CT scanner
• EMR is Meditech, PACS is FUJI Synapse
• Friday-Sunday schedule, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Perform CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans
• Perform CTA chest, neck, and abdomen studies, with occasional CTA cardiac studies
• Perform CT Lumbar/Thoracic spine and CT Head stroke protocol imaging
• Department workload varies based on ED patient volume
• Small, family-friendly facility with easy navigation
• Department offers a detailed guideline book and resources for quick orientation
• Black scrubs required, not provided
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
