Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital in Nevada. The role requires 1+ year CT experience, ARRT/CT credentials, BLS, and Nevada licensure (pending accepted). You will perform CT and general x-ray exams, serving a mixed pediatric to geriatric patient population.

The schedule is 4x10 hour days (Fri-Mon) with 10:00–20:00 shifts, and there is potential for travel with housing and licensure reimbursements. First-time traveler candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• CT Technologist experience (minimum 1 year) required.
• ARRT or ARRT Advanced Certification required.
• CT Advanced Certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Nevada state license required (pending license accepted).
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Experience with CT imaging with and without contrast.
• Experience with CT arthrography and vascular CTA preferred.
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration.
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs.
• Experience using PACS.

Responsibilities

• Critical access hospital with 23 staffed beds.
• Performs CT, portable x-ray, and general x-ray exams.
• Daily caseload of 1 CT, 2 portables, and 1 x-ray room per tech.
• Average of 15 patients per day across CT and x-ray modalities.
• Handles trauma and general CT cases; excludes CTA heart and brain perfusion.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday–Monday, 10:00–20:00.
• Floats within scope between CT and general x-ray to meet facility needs.
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates at same pay rate.
• Weekend requirements determined by unit needs.

• Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, chest, and spine/musculoskeletal CT imaging with and without contrast


• Experience with CT arthrography and vascular CTA preferred


• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration


• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs


• Experience using PACS

Responsibilities

• Uses Epic for charting and GE equipment


• First-time travelers accepted


• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate


• Weekend requirements to be determined based on unit needs


• Block scheduling accommodation to be determined based on unit needs


• RTO must be finalized and submitted with profile prior to offer and cannot be guaranteed
